Other Key Changes  (not all of them)

• You can revisit the Royal Menagerie.
• ‘Hidden Canals of Uznair‘ is a new area in the Lost Canals of Uznair.
• Squadrons:
  • Levels increased to 60 and glamour unlocked!
  • Command Missions – basically you can do dungeons with your squadron members now.
• Housing Relocation:
  • Apartments in FC houses are also relocated.
  • 30% of the minimum value of your old plot goes towards the new one!
  • Furnishing go to a storeroom.
• 3? New mounts (One from Gold Saucer, new doggo mount – maybe from Shinryu Extreme and some sort of chair mount)
• New emotes.
• New hairstyles.
• Retrieve materia from gear (chance of success, if it fails the materia is lost).

Patch 4.1 Trailer

Omega: Deltascape (Savage) tier cleared! (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و

Team Floor Huggers Ltd have done it again! Last night, we completed the final floor of Omega: Deltascape (Savage)!!

Several teams throughout the world managed to complete all four floors within the first week of it’s release (around 10 weeks ago), for us, we managed to get the first two floors down in the first week.

Between O3S and O4S, we’ve had a couple of weeks of non-progression as some of us had things to do IRL. Sadly, we also had to say farewell to our raid Scholar, token Roegadyn and friend, Luthern Westknight.

Progression to Neo Exdeath!

Raiding with Luth for about a year. It’s been a blast, friend (;﹏;)

Through a recommendation by our raid Red Mage, we took onboard a cute lalafell healer, Alkaid Gainsborough. Fast forward a couple of weeks and we finally killed Neo Exdeath and cleared O4S!

I’m back!

Hi guys! Well…It only took 5 months to go back home on foot, but I’m finally back from fanfest! (〃´∀｀;) Jokes aside, apologies on the lack updates – I realised that my last post was one I made just before going to the EU fanfest in Frankfurt which was way back in February but don’t worry, I’ll slowly fill in the gaps with some nostalgic throwback posts 😉

So. Here we are. It’s now July 2017; Stormblood has been released for almost a month, I have Samurai and Black Mage levelled up to max, main story all complete, extreme primal fights on farm and the normal Omega raid cleared. In just a few days the savage tier of Omega will be unlocked and Team Floor Huggers Ltd. will be at it again! And this time I’ll be going as Samurai ^^;

FFXIV FanFest EU is right round the corner!

Eeeee! FanFest EU is coming close and with just 3 days to go I’m sorting out all my bits in preparation for the event! For anyone else that is going and needs a mini checklist, don’t forget to bring:

• FanFest Ticket
• Free Travel Ticket – RMV Kombiticket that comes with the FanFest Ticket (sent be email!)
• Nobuo Uematsu Signing Session Ticket – if you were one of the lucky ones that managed to get one
• ID
• All your other travel essentials (I’ll be travelling from another country so things like passport, boarding pass, accomodation tickets etc.)

Square Enix released more details about the specifics of the event in their recent blog post so at least now I know where I need to be and when!

There’s sooo much to look out for and I hope I’ll be able to see everything that FanFest has to offer ^^

For anyone reading my blog and are going to FanFest, feel free to say hi to me 🙂 I’ll be travelling with the Narshe Red Wings FC (apparently ~35 of us are going?!) so we shouldn’t be too hard to find 😛

For those of you who aren’t going to FanFest, hopefully you’ll be able to watch the stream! I’m actually taking part in the PvP tournament and I’m not sure if they’ll be showing the preliminary matches…but I’m sure they’ll be showing the semi-finals and finals matches! Hopefully my team will get past the preliminaries and if we do I hope you will all be rooting for me yes? ♥

Dun Scaith Loot List

Dun Scaith is the new 24-man raid that came out with patch 3.5 and requires an average item level of 235 or above.

Some people found The Weeping City of Mhach loot list I did useful, so I figured I’d do another one for Dun Scaith~

All loot drops are for the left side and are ilvl 260 – Diabolic gear sets. Loot is locked at one piece of gear per week.

After Ferdiad Hollow, you’ll come across a Shadowcourt Handmaiden (not really a boss) and after killing it, a chest will drop containing a Blood Sword (you can also get this from the Gold Saucer for 10,000 MGP).

Diabolos Hollow also drops:

•  Void Matter (most likely a crafting material?)
• There is also a chance of the Wind-up Scathach minion dropping

Upon completion of the raid, you’ll also get a Mhachi Matter (which can be traded in for Grade V Materia of your choice) and a Mhachi Shilling which is used to trade in for upgrade items!

The upgrade items are Illuminati Tautest Gobtwine and Illuminati Darkest Gobcoat and require you to trade in 3 pieces of currency:

• Mhachi Shilling – obtained from Dun Scaith
• Mhachi Penny – obtained from The Weeping City of Mhach
• Mhachi Farthing – obtained from The Void Ark

These upgrade items are for the Shire gearset (ilvl 260, bought from Hismena in Idyllshire using Allagan Tomestones of Scriptures).

Other Key Changes

There’s a lot of changes but here’s a ‘shorter’ summary of the major ones:

• Housing – new picture frames allow you to hang up paintings. Completing the sightseeing log achievements unlocks more paintings for sale from the Joyous Painter.
• Triple Triad Tournament – only available in the Battlehall and is done by random matchmaking (no more wintrades!).
• New Hairstyles.
• New Emotes. Scholasticate quest unlocks new emote.
• Cross-server Party Finder! You can now party up with friends from other servers ♥. Private parties can also be created with passwords.
• Frontline PvP – you can now register as a freelancer, which means no Grand Company restrictions! Also Linkshell/Free Company/Novice Network chats are enabled.
• Feast PvP – chat is disabled and replaced with Quick Chat (premade text macros).
• Duelling PvP – now able to ilvl sync.
• Alexander (Savage) gear dyeable. Glamour-game end-game.
• No more food wastage! Food buff is extended if you already have the effect (up to twice the duration)…tfw you have 9 mins on food buff but the fight lasts 12 mins T-T.
• Returner status for players who haven’t played the game for 45+ days (must have one classe at lvl 50+). Benefits: EXP bonus when partying with a Mentor up to lvl 20.
• More settings, features and photo filters for /gpose~
• For PC players – you can change the hotbar layouts now!
• Various other quality of life updates…(but there’s no changes to balancing of classes).

WOOOO! Team Floor Huggers have finally cleared A12s – The Soul of the Creator Savage, after roughly 9 weeks after A11s (although we’ve had almost a month of little to no practice time because of IRL commitments… and Christmas/New Years ^^’)

Our first loot drops from Alexander Prime were the Alexandrian Jacket of Aiming and the Alexandrian Metal Cane~

Starlight Celebrations!

The Starlight Celebration is here! The questline starts with Naughty or Nice in Ul’dah, Steps of Nald (11,9) and doesn’t take too long to complete 🙂

Here’s some of the Starlight Celebration event items this year!

The quest reward is the Starlight Robe (which is dyeable btw)  and the Starlight Celebration Orchestrion Roll. The vendor also sells the following housing items:

• Starlight Pillar (Furnishing, 10,733 gil)
• Starlight (Wall-mounted, 5,496 gil)
• Snow Drift (Outdoor Furnishing, 6,972 gil)

Team Floor Huggers Ltd Cleared A11s – Heart of the Creator Savage!

A bit late with this post, but we cleared A11s last Thursday! We had a couple of weeks where we only raided one day in the week so we didn’t get much practice in but once we put in the hours, we took out Cruise Chaser >:3
